Advocates Identify Potential Site

Advocates for Aging Care has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent with a Savoy landowner to purchase approximately 10 acres for a proposed 10-cottage, 120-bed skilled nursing facility. The site is part of a larger parcel located south of Liberty on the Lake, north of Old Church Road, and east of Mattis Avenue.

The plan envisions a residential-style setting with 10 cottages and one administrative building. Unlike commercial or multi-family developments, the Cottages are designed to blend into residential communities and will be a convenient local option for Champaign County families seeking nearby skilled care for loved ones.
