"I became involved in ACC because the need was clear to me.  I experienced the impact from two perspectives, both professionally while working at Carle related to extended patient stays, and personally while caring for some older friends, for whom we could not readily find local care options that would meet their needs.   Our community will benefit from increased access to skilled nursing beds and I am fortunate to be a part of a group who wants to facilitate a long term solution."
