Our Mission:
To establish a high-quality skilled nursing facility in Champaign County that provides innovative and person-centered care supporting residents throughout their lifetime.
Founded in 2023 to address the critical shortage of skilled nursing beds in Champaign County, Advocates for Aging Care (AAC) has worked with government and health officials, organizations, and concerned citizens to develop solutions to help seniors and their families access quality care close to home.
Today, Advocates for Aging Care is a charitable organization dedicated to bringing an innovative, person-centered skilled nursing facility to Champaign County, expanding local capacity while prioritizing quality and the well-being of residents and their families. AAC is raising $3 million for initial operating expenses to help bring this vital community project to life.
Through community partnerships and philanthropic support, we are addressing a critical need and building a stronger future for aging care in Champaign County.
